This Year’s Event Highlights:

Based on attendee input at past events, we modified our structure a bit this year.  The first two days were dedicated to presentations given by over 50 ADCP/ DVL users.  As usual, these presentations were split into the following concurrent tracks:

1. Water Resources – flow and discharge measurement in rivers and streams
   
   
2. Marine Measurements – current profiling and waves measurement in the ocean environment
   
   
3. Navigation – underwater Doppler navigation and diver  applications

This allowed us to dedicate day three to Teledyne RDI and co-sponsor product and software training seminars.

These core events were supplemented by:
 

• A full-day DVL Integration Workshop
  
  
• New product introductions
  
  
• 12 poster papers
  
  
• One-on-one meetings with our field service team.
  
  
• One-on-one meetings with our sales, marketing, and/or management staff.  
  
  
• A tour of our new Poway facility.
  
  
• A fabulous Casino night
  
  
• A co-sponsor exhibit area and cocktail hour to showcase the great complimentary technology available to our customers.

Mr. Steve Blanchard addresses

We were also extremely pleased to welcome  Mr. Steve Blanchard, Chief of the U.S. Geological Survey’s Office of Surface Water as this year’s Keynote speaker. 

Mr. Blanchard’s addressed a full-house on the “Application of Hydroacoustics in the Surface Water Programs of the USGS."
